The Second Asia - Oceania Intercontinental Meeting, marked by its great diversity of cultures, was held at Pallotti College, Milgrove, Australia from 21-25 April 2009. It was held in two parts: the first three days were dedicated to the UAC and the rest were allotted to the SAC. The UAC meeting was attended by the Major Superiors or their Delegates from the Society of the Catholic Apostolate, the Congregation of the Sisters of the Catholic Apostolate, the Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of the Catholic Apostolate, the Secular Institutes of Mariana Community and the Khristevikas and two lay members of the UAC in Australia. Fr. Zenon Hanas and Fr. Jacob Nampudakam represented the SAC General Council. The central point of both the meeting was collaboration among the entities of the Pallottine family of this grouping in apostolate, mission and formation. A number of concrete suggestions were made for future implementation. The unique achievement of this meeting was the new approach to the Continental Meeting where the first part is held in the ambit of the UAC and the second part is dedicated to the SAC. The next meeting is scheduled for 2011, to be held in the Province of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, India.
