The second international novitiate experience was successfully concluded on 14th June 2011 with the Holy Eucharistic celebration in our church of SS. Salvatore in Onda, presided over by Rector General, Fr. Jacob Nampudakam. The participants included 4 novices from the Mother of Divine Love Province (IR), 3 novices from the Heart of Jesus Province (CJ), 1 novice from the Mother of God Province (MD) and 1 novice from the Pallottine Missionary Sisters in Germany. Sr. Daniela Siniscalchi the main Coordinator of this common experience was assisted by the Novice Masters Fr. Michael Irwin (IR), Fr. Jochen Ruiner (CJ) and Sr. Gertrud Meiser (Pallottine Missionary Sisters).
As a whole, it was a very positive experience of Pallottine family spirit and collaboration. The six weeks of experience included daily classes on Pallottine materials, sharing, group dynamics, personal accompaniment, and regular spiritual exercises like Holy Mass, prayers, meditation and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Thanks are due to the organisers of this common programme of formation: Fr. Derry Murphy, the UAC President and the 3 persons responsible for formation from the Core Communities: Fr. François Harelimana SAC, Sr. Ignes Burin CSAC and Sr. Josephine D'Souza SAC.
