On June 28, 2008 at the Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel took place the entrance ceremony of Archbishop Henryk Hoser in the Diocese of Warsaw-Prague which was attended among others also by the Rector General, the Vicar General and the Secretary General.
The Diocese covers half of the city of Warsaw and extends for 60 km to the east. The inhabitants are almost 1.2 million (1.1 million Catholics), there are more than 450 priests, more than 200 religious priests and more than 1300 nuns who live and work in the diocese. The parishes are about 160. Let us accompany Msgr. H. Hoser with our prayers in his service as Pastor of the Church.
