Elections and appoitments - January 2011 Print
- The General Council has approved the definitive results of the elections of the "Holy Family" Region (SF), Rwanda, Dem. Rep. of Congo: Fr. Romuald Uzabumwana - Regional Rector; Fr. Gilbert Kazingufu - First Consultor; Fr. Stanisław Filipek, Br. Jean Marie Ngendahimana, Fr. Jean Pierre Nsabimana – Consultors. The new Council began its mandate on January 22nd, 2011.

- The General Council has appointed the members of the following SECRETARIATS AND COMMISSIONS:

  • General Secretariat for Formation: Fr. François Harelimana – Secretary General, Fr. Antony Dhas Prakasam (NA, India), Fr. Jeremiah Murphy (IR, Rome/Ireland), Fr. Mariusz Małkiewicz (WA, Poland), Fr. Romuald Uzabumwana (SF, Rwanda), Br. Stephen Buckely (IR, Rome/Ireland), Fr. Thomas Lemp (CJ, Germany), Fr. Valdeci Antonio de Almeida (SP, Brazil). The Secretariat has been appointed until January 22nd, 2014.
  • General Secretariat for the Missions: Fr. Adam Golec - Secretary General, Fr. Erich Schädler (CH, Switzerland), Fr. Grzegorz Młodawski (WA, Poland), Fr. John Kelly (IR, Ireland), Fr. Peter Sticco (IC, USA), Fr. Rayappa Reddy (BA, India), Fr. Ronaldo Kuhnen (SM, Brazil), Fr. Stanisław Filipek (SF, Rwanda). The mandate will be until January 22nd, 2014.
  • Juridical Commission: Fr. Vitaliy Gorbatykh – President, Fr. Denilson Geraldo (SP, Brazil), Fr. Hubert Socha (CJ, Germany), Fr. Jan Korycki (WA, Rome), Fr. Janusz Łuczak (PN, Poland), Fr. Joy Palachuvattil (NA, India), Fr. Tomasz Skibiński (PN, Poland). The Commission has been appointed until January 22nd, 2014.
  • Historical Commission: Fr. Mariano Pinasco (IR.AR, Argentina) - President, Fr. Francesco Todisco (IT, Italy), Fr. James Anchukandatil (NA, India), Fr. João Baptista Quaini (SM, Brazil), Fr. Piotr Bełczowski (WA, Poland), Fr. Wilfried Kunz (CJ, Germany), Fr. Aloyse Kisito Patrice Essono (CN, Cameroon), Fr. Martin Manus is the contact person on the General Council. The Commission began its triennial mandate on January 22nd, 2011.
  • Liturgical Commission: Fr. Jacek Nowak (PN, Poland) President, Fr. Markus Reck (CH, Rome), Br. Jânio Fernandes de Lima (SM, Brazil), Fr. Jarosław Superson (WA, Poland). The appointment will be until January 22nd, 2014.
  • Commission for Youth Apostolate: Fr. Daniel Rocchetti (RJ, Brazil) Presidente, Fr. Andrzej Daniewicz (WA, Poland), Fr. Jean Bertrand Etoundi (CN, Cameroon), Fr. Reshmikant Nayak (RA, India), Fr. Andy Givel (CH, Switzerland), Fr. Martin Manus – contact person on the General Council. The mandate of this new Commission will last until January 22nd, 2014; its principal tasks involve the promotion and coordination of the Youth apostolate throughout the world, with the spirit of our Founder as its basis.
  • Mediation and Arbitration Commission: the Rector General, having listened to the General Council, has decided to prolong the mandate of the following confreres as the members of the Mediation and Arbitration Commission, until the Consultative Congress of the Major Superiors of 2012,: Fr. Giuseppe Colantonio (IT, Italy), Fr. Patrick Dwyer (IR, Ireland) Fr. Kazimierz Czulak (PN, Polanda).
  • Commission for the Library of the General House: Fr. Jan Kupka – Librarian, Fr. Vitaliy Gorbatykh, Fr. Jeremiah Murphy, Fr. Norbert Hannappel, and Fr. Łukasz Sleziak. The mandate is triennial from January 22nd, 2011.
