  • The first National Congress of the Union of Catholic Apostolate was held on 22 and 23 September 2007 at Częstochowa, Poland. This event was inserted into the Centenary celebrations of the Pallottine Presence in Poland and therefore the motto of the Jubilee of the Pallottine Community - "To revive faith and re-kindle charity, unifying the forces" - became also the theme of the Congress. More than 600 persons participated in the celebrations and during the Holy Mass of 22 September, 29 lay people made the Act of Apostolic Commitment, thereby becoming UAC members
  • New UAC members: In addition to the new Polish members, the Act of Apostolic Commitment in the Union of Catholic Apostolate was made by three persons at Reed Deer in Canada on 22 September 2007, and on 4 November 2007, after a profound and intense formation, which lasted for more than two years, and guided by the members of the Pallottine Communities, the first six lay members from the parish of St. Vincent Pallotti in Gikondo, Kigali, Ruanda/Congo, made their apostolic commitment.
  • The new UAC National Coordination Council in Brazil, elected during the National Assembly held in Curitiba in the month of June, initiated its mandate on 28 October 2007. The new President is Fr. João Pedro Stawicki, SAC.
