- The Pontifical Council for the Laity has organized a study seminar for Bishops in response to the invitation of the Holy Father "I ask you to go out to meet the movements with much love." (Benedict XVI, 18-11-2006). The seminar will take place at Rocca di Papa, Rome, from May 15th to 17th, the President of the Union, Mgr. Séamus Freeman, has been invited to participate.
- During the third week of April the annual Pallottine Service Week took place in the United States of America coinciding with the anniversary of the birth of St. Vincent Pallotti. There has been a noted increase in the organization of different events and activities around the anniversary of the birth of St. Vincent in the Pallottine world; this year triduums have been celebrated, spiritual retreats and days of recollection, prayer vigils, diverse gatherings and meetings, and in several parts of Brazil new members were admitted to the UAC in Eucharistic celebrations.
- The Quinta Dimensione Community, a Community of the Union, with serenity and peace, has witnessed the return of Fr. Giuseppe Leonardi, SAC, to the Father's House on April 16th 2008. Fr. Giuseppe accompanied the Quinta Dimensione Community, a Community of the Union, right from its very beginning in 1968-69.
- The National Coordination Council of the UAC in Brazil has organized a National Encounter of the UAC which will take place on May 24th and 25th at Canção Nova - São Paulo. The participants in the Encounter will also be present at the celebration to mark the 170th anniversary of the foundation of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Catholic Apostolate, and the 75th anniversary of its missionary presence in Brazil. The celebration will take place in the Basilica Nossa Senhora Aparecida, Sao Paolo.
