As you already know the General Statutes of the UAC were approved in 2003 for a five year period ‘ad expermentum’. The draft text of the definitive Statutes was approved during the Extraordinary General Assembly of 2007 and was presented to the Pontifical Council for the Laity for consideration, the notification of the definitive approval was communicated in a letter to the General Secretariat of the UAC on May 2nd. The letter includes some observations on minor modifications which will be discussed and incorporated into the text in the course of the annual meeting of the General Coordination Council which will take place in Grottaferrata from May 12th to 16th.
