The Pallottine Fathers in Zambia from the Province of the Epiphany of the Lord (NA) celebrated the Feast of St. Vincent Pallotti on January 12, 2008 for the first time. The presence of Rev. Fr. Mathew Panakal SAC, the former Provincial, made the first Pallotti Day celebration in Zambia a memorable one. Rev. Fr. Oliver Mukunda, the Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Lusaka, presided over the Holy Mass. In the introduction he appreciated the presence of the Pallottine Fathers in the Archdiocese. He said that the charism and the apostolate of St. Vincent Pallotti brought to the diocese through the Pallottine Fathers would be certainly a source of blessing for the people of Lusaka.
