Meeting of Institute of St. Pallotti in 2008. On Thursday, 7 February 2008, in the church of SS. Salvatore in Onda, the first meeting with the Pauline theme of 2008-2009 was held. From the series of conferences on Pauline spirituality in St.Vincent Pallotti, Fr. Jan Kupka SAC presented the theme: "St. Paul, the Apostle in the life and writings of St. Vincent Pallotti". The speaker pointed out that St. Vincent Pallotti was fascinated by the person of the Apostle, St. Paul. This fact could be confirmed from the biography and the writings of the Saint. For Pallotti, the great Apostle Paul was someone who was aware of his weaknesses; a man who cultivated a profound love for God and fellow men. He was, for Pallotti, an Apostle of universal zeal and great courage, an Apostle of ardent passion for all the Churches. St. Vincent Pallotti desired to imitate this great Apostle in his life and to propagate his teaching, especially regarding the necessity of charity in Christian and apostolic life.
