Official Visitation of the Province of "St. Paul, Apostle" ( |

From 15 February to 15 March the Official Visitation of the Province of "St. Paul, Apostle" (SP) was undertaken by the First Consultor, Fr. Zenon Hanas, accompanied by the General Consultor, Fr. Gilberto Orsolin and the General Secretary Fr. Janusz Luczak. With this the Visitations to the Pallottine Entities in Brazil are concluded. The Visitators were able to visit all the communities of the Province and got an opportunity to witness the great commitment of our confreres to the pastoral challenges that exist in this enormous country, both in the missionary areas like the States of Maranhão and Bahia as well as in the more developed areas like, for example, the State of St. Paul. |

The Official Visitation of the Delegature of Cameroon (FB.CM) by Rector General, Fr. Friedrich Kretz and the General Consultor, Fr. Jacob Nampudakam took place from 15 February to 4 March 2007. The Visit was done also in view of the eventual transformation of this Delegature into a Region in accordance with the request already made by the Province of the "Most Holy Trinity" (LM). The Pallottines arrived in Cameroon in 1890 and they founded not only our community but also the Catholic Church. For this reason the entire country is dedicated to Mary, Queen of Apostles. Among the first Pallottines to arrive was also Mons. Henri Vieter, presently a candidate for the honour of the Blessed. At the moment the Delegature consists of 32 priests, 2 brothers of perpetual consecration, 2 students of perpetual consecration, 35 members of temporary consecration and 19 candidates in Preparatory Formation. The confreres of the Delegature are also involved in missionary activities in South Africa and Nigeria. |

Zambia - Collaboration between Provinces |

The Mother of God Province (MD-USA), in the context of collaboration among the Provinces of our Society, has decided in its Provincial Assembly to work together with the Province of the Epiphany of the Lord (NA-India) for the new mission in Zambia. Two confreres of the Indian Province have already taken responsibility for a parish in Lusaka and are also working on a project to establish a formation house for the English-speaking African candidates in this country. |
