1. The Pallottine Apostolate in the Parishes

The General Secretary for Apostolate invites every one to participate at the project titled "the Pallottine apostolate in the Parishes". To facilitate the communication and the collaboration between the Pallottine parishes in the world - there are more than 330 in 40 countries - is started a website, namely, www.pallottineparish.net, which in future will serve as the "forum of sharing and communication". The responsible persons for the realization of the said project, for the coordination and the gathering of information in diverse areas are the following confreres: Africa - Fr. Bruno Ateba (FB.CM); South America - Fr. Angelo Lôndero (SM) and Fr. Jan Stawicki (RJ); North America - Fr. Frank Donio (IC); India - Fr. Thomas Vijay (NA); Western Europe - Fr. Norbert Lauinger (FB); Eastern Europe - Fr. Piotr Banach (WA) and Fr. Marek Borowski (PN); Oceania - Fr. Dean Bradbury (AU). Within the context of the project there are two meetings are organised in Rome: - Forum of the Pallottine Youth:  for the youth coming from the Pallottine parishes (1-7 August 2008); - Permanent Formation Course for the Pallottines who work in the parishes (10-17 September 2008). Detailed information regarding the above can be found in the website www.pallottineparish.net, which progressively will be in various languages.

2. The eighth anniversary of the formal erection of the UAC

The eighth anniversary of the formal erection of the Union in the Universal Church was celebrated on Saturday October 29th 2011 in the Church of Spirito Santo dei Napoletani, via Giulia, where St. Vincent was Rector from 1835 until January 1846. Members of the UAC in the area of Rome gathered at 15.30 for an hour of prayer 'in the Cenacle', interceding for a renewed gift of the Spirit of God for the entire Union, followed by a concelebrated Mass at 16.30 led by the President of the Union Fr. Derry Murphy SAC, during which all of the Union members present united in publicly renewing their Act of Apostolic Commitment together. UACottobre2011

3. New Region of the Most Holy Trinity - Cameroon/Nigeria

The 8th December 2008, Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the feast of the Pallottine Province in U.S.A of the same name, and the presence in Africa of Rector General, Fr. Friedrich Kretz S.A.C and the General Secretary for the Missions, Fr. G. Orsolin S.A.C, had special significance for the history of our Society. On this day, a new dependent Pallottine Region with the name of the Most Holy Trinity, constituted of the two African countries of Cameroon and Nigeria, was officially erected, and the celebration was held in the church of the Holy Spirit in Yaoundé, associated with the great Pallottine missionary, bishop Mons. Heinrich Vieter. The inaugural Eucharistic celebration, presided over by the Rector General and assisted by the Mission Secretary, was attended by numerous guests and religious from Cameroon, and above all, by the representatives of the Mother Province, the Provincial Vicar, Fr. N. Possmann S.A.C., the Provincial Bursar, Fr. St. Bruehl S.A.C., the ex-Provincial Rector, Fr. N. Hannappel S.A.C. and the Rector of the Local Community of Limburg, Fr. A. Holzbach S.A.C. We wish every blessing of God to the new Region for the realisation of the Pallottine charism.

4. Square St. Vincent Pallotti - Naples

On Sunday, 27 September 2009, at 11.00 A.M., the Pallottine parish of “St.Vincent Pallotti” in Naples had a very special celebration. According to the official resolution of the Joint Municipality, the Square in front of the Church was named after our Founder and his statue was installed there. The ceremony was attended by the Metropolitan Archbishop of Naples, Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, the Major of the City, Dr Rosa Russo Iervolino and the City Councillor of Toponomastic, Dr. Ponticelli Alfredo. The Society of the Catholic Apostolate was represented by the Procurator General, Fr. K. Heinen S.A.C, the Personal Secretary of the Rector General, Fr. W. Weiss S.A.C and the General Consultor, Fr. F. Todisco S.A.C. Fr. A. Lotti, Provincial Rector, came from the Italian Province of “Queen of Apostles”. After the discourse and blessing by the Cardinal, during the applause, first the name plate and then, the statue of St. Vincent Pallotti in white marble, sculptured by the company Salvatore Zingarelli di Mugnano (NA) was installed in front of the Church. The Saint is presented as young and benevolent with the Madonna in his left hand, showing the permanence of his sanctity, achieved through the discovery and practice of love towards God and his fellow human beings.

5. Booklet on the life of E. Sanna - A. Montonati

A famous journalist and biographer, Mr. Angelo Montonati, has published a booklet on the life of Elisabetta Sanna, titled, Elisabetta Sanna, the Sardinian Woman who conquered the heart of romans. Mons. Paolo Atzei, Archbishop of Sassari expresses the following greetings: "May these pages, lovingly and wisely written, attract to her loveable and meek figure, entering into the families, in the parishes, in the institutes of consecrated life, to open the hearts to an authentic experience of the Gospel". Whoever desires to have the booklet of Montonati, can approach the General Postulatore, Fr. Jan Korycki, SAC. To the Postulatore and also at the Unio Verlag (Hochaltingen, St.-Ulrich-Straße 4, 86742 Fremdingen, Germany) one can get the recent German version of the booklet of Francesco Amoroso SAC, Elisabettta Sanna.
