Notizie dal Generalato/Segretariato Generale per l'Apostolato
About 60 young people from seven countries came to Rome to participate in the 5th Pallottine Youth Forum. Following countries were represented: South Korea, India, Poland, Germany, Scotland, Austria and Brazil. The Pallottine Youth groups were accompanied by nine Pallottine fathers and brothers, responsible for the youth pastoral in their respective countries. The Meeting was conducted in the Youth Centre of the Pallottine Sisters in Rome. In the first week of August the participants could visit the places in Rome which are important for the history of the Church and for the Christian and Pallottine spirituality. It was a dynamic experience of diversity of cultures which enriched each other. The common liturgy, the sharing about Christian life in the different countries and discovery of the common roots in the Gospels values and history were the most important aspects of the meeting. You can read some of the impressions of the participants on INTERNET and see some PHOTOS. Some of the participants came from far away (like South Korea or Brazil). Others traveled to the Forum for a long time (19 days by bikes from Poland). All of them prepared for their participation with long anticipation. We hope to have the 6th Pallottine Youth Forum in Rome in August 2010. The preparation for this meeting can already begin.

The Jubilee Year celebration on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the death of the Venerable Elisabetta Sanna, was concluded officially on April 22, 2007 in SS. Salvatore in Onda in Rome, with the concelebrated Eucharistic Celebration, presided over by General Consultor Fr. Francesco Todisco. The celebration was attended by the friends of the Venerable and the members of UCA, Rome, and the guests from Sardegna, who also enriched the ceremony with their Choir. The celebrant, speaking of the various virtues of Elisabetta, highlighted the testimony that St. Vincent Pallotti gave of her in one of his letters to Don Giuseppe Valle: "She goes forward in her good works and I hope that she will achieve the perfection that God, the Father of Mercies, wants of her" (OCL, V, 241). The Postulator don Jan Korycki, mindful of the diverse initiatives taken during the Jubilee Year, highlighted the lively interest many have for the Servant of God and the prayers offered for her beatification. Notizie dal Generalato/Regime Generale
It has become a tradition for a group of members from the Generalate to visit every year, on the second Sunday in May, the little place in Umbria called St. Giorgio di Cascia, from where comes the family of our Founder St. Vincent Pallotti. This year numerous confreres from our College Queen of Apostles, many Pallottine sisters and the local people participated at the celebration. It was indeed a proclamation of the universality of the Church and a living testimony to the great growth of the Pallottine charism in the different countries, cultures and continents. As usual, the family members of our Founder were happy, generous and proud, especially of the numerous Pallottine priests and sisters present at the celebration.

Notizie dal Generalato/Regime Generale
From 4-9 November 2009, Fr. Z. Hanas, Vicar General, together with Fr. Susayan Sathyanesan, Provincial Rector of the Indian Province of the “Assumption of the B.M.V.” (BA) visited a diocese of the Island of Taiwan in order to examine the possibility of establishing the Pallottine presence in this country. The island of Taiwan is small and lies 150 km away from China. There is a rather big population of about 25 millions of people, out which only 2% are Catholics. The diocese that has invited the Pallottines is situated in the centre part of the country and has 26.000 Catholics. The confreres visited ten parishes, which present great possibilities for pastoral work. Before stating the pastoral work it is necessary to learn the local language and the Mandarin language, which will require at least two or three years of study. After the language study the Bishop is willing to entrust one of the parishes to the Pallottines. After the visit, the Indian Province has decided to send two members in June 2010 to begin with the study of languages.
